- Deep Ellum Foundation is a nonprofit corporation that manages the Deep Ellum Public Improvement District, funds the Deep Ellum Bark Park, contributed to the Deep Ellum Arts Festival, and other events.
- Bike Friendly Deep Ellum promotes bicycle use and communiting around Deep Ellum
- Friends of Santa Fe Trail maintains and supports the enhancement and beautification of the trail for the entire community.
- Latino Cultural Center (LCC) is always looking for energetic volunteers to represent the LCC during special events, assist with performances and office duties.
- Soup Mobile, whose office is in Deep Ellum, serves up over 20,000 meals to Dallas's homeless annually.

This event is FREE and open to the public! The historic Fair Park's Cotton Bowl is transformed into a super-sized dog park for canines of all sizes for one day only! Santa Fe Trail – Runs between Fair Park to White Rock Lake
For the avid runner, the Santa Fe Trail is 4.2 miles and runs north connecting to the White Rock Lake Park Loop and Union Pacific Trail. This trail is not nearly as crowded as other trails in Dallas and offers a few restaurants along the way as nice stops.
