We understand it can sometimes be a hassle to make sure that your pet is getting the essential playtime they need in order to stay mentally happy and physically healthy. Therefore, we compiled a list of great pet-friendly events and spots around the Deep Ellum neighborhood that will make it easier for you and your bet to get out there and have some fun!
Deep Ellum/ Bark Park Central - 2530 Commerce Street
Open Tuesday-Sunday from 5:00am – Midnight
Bark Park Central is within walking distance of all of our Deep Ellum Loft communities. Enjoy great views of downtown and adorable murals that Deep Ellum is known for. The dog park offers shaded grassy areas, doggy watering holes and showers to keep your them cool during those hot summer days.

Hundreds of pet owners take their furry friends down Main Street! Pets can also enter the Best Costume, Best Personality and Best Trick competition and will be introduced on stage during the Deep Ellum Arts Festival

Dog Bowl at the Cotton Bowl – Fair Park, 3750 Cotton Bowl Cir
Sunday, May 3, 2015 from 1:00pm-5:00pm
This event is FREE and open to the public! The historic Fair Park's Cotton Bowl is transformed into a super-sized dog park for canines of all sizes for one day only! Water stations and splash bowls will be provided to keep your pup cool. $5 Parking is available or you can hop on the DART Green Line to the Fair Park Station!
Santa Fe Trail - Runs between Fair Park to White Rock Lake
For the avid runner, the Santa Fe Trail is 4.2 miles and runs north connecting to the White Rock Lake Park Loop and Union Pacific Trail. This trail is not nearly as crowded as other trails in Dallas and offers a few restaurants along the way as nice stops.
